Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claire Falkenstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, Circa 1971 in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,075.00 (€ 179,455.56).

Die Arbeit Untitled, circa 1971 von Claire Falkenstein kam im Dezember 2019 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.575,00 (€ 15.654,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claire Falkenstein erzielen.
