Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Interstices in Green, circa 1960 by Claire Falkenstein was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,075.00 (€ 17,881.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claire Falkenstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled, Circa 1971 in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,075.00 (€ 179,455.56).
