Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Claes Eklundh could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Untitled (Head) changed hands for USD 500.00 (€ 377.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Claes Eklundh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Profile. in October this year with an auction result of SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,048.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Claes Eklundh konnte im April 2012 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Head) für USD 500,00 (€ 377,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claes Eklundh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Profile. im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.048,83).
