In January 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work Study For The Lamentation Of Christ by Ciro Ferri. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,730.57), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ciro Ferri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Virgin Immaculate blessed by God the Father in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 97,745.30).

Im Januar 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study For The Lamentation Of Christ von Ciro Ferri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.730,57) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ciro Ferri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Virgin Immaculate blessed by God the Father im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 97.745,30).
