Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Allegory of Knowledge by Ciro Ferri was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,117.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ciro Ferri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Virgin Immaculate blessed by God the Father in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 97,745.30).
