The work FOREST - WIND by Chung Doo-Hwa was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,708.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Chung Doo-Hwa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Reverberation sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,467.35).

Die Arbeit FOREST - WIND von Chung Doo-Hwa kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.708,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Chung Doo-Hwa; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Reverberation im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.467,35).
