The work Phil (Philip Glass) by Chuck Close was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in January 2024. It achieved a price of GBP 10,160.00 (€ 17,004.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chuck Close achieve.
