The work Calligraphy - Everyday Is A Good Day by Chua Lam was worth HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,663.34) to a buyer in February 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chua Lam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy in Running Script, which sold at auction in March last year for HKD 100,800.00 (€ 11,603.86).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy - Everyday Is A Good Day von Chua Lam war einem Käufer im Februar 2021 HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.663,34) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Chua Lam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für HKD 100.800,00 (€ 11.603,86) versteigert wurde.
