The work Calligraphy - Gold Mountain and Silver Sea (Appreciating Landscape Paintings in a Calmed Mind) by Chu Chu was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 4,045.35), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 28,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chu Chu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the Equality of Things-Fruit-Clementine, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,064.97).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy - Gold Mountain and Silver Sea (Appreciating Landscape Paintings in a Calmed Mind) von Chu Chu wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 4.045,35) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 28.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chu Chu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit On the Equality of Things-Fruit-Clementine beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.064,97) versteigert wurde.
