Auction result well in line with expectations
The work NOTES ON CI - BLUE OF BLUE by Chu Chu was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2018. It changed hands for a price of CNY 48,000.00 (€ 6,013.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chu Chu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On the Equality of Things-Fruit-Clementine, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,064.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit NOTES ON CI - BLUE OF BLUE von Chu Chu kam im September 2018 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CNY 48.000,00 (€ 6.013,42) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chu Chu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit On the Equality of Things-Fruit-Clementine beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.064,97) versteigert wurde.
