This work without title by Christopher Wool was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Christies in London in May 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,708.91), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christopher Wool achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Riot) in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 29,930,000.00 (€ 27,223,940.33).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Christopher Wool wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.708,91) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christopher Wool erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Riot) im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 29.930.000,00 (€ 27.223.940,33).
