In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Midnight Snack; and three companion works changed hands for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,228.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Christopher Fox Payne have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2012 by the work Flight Plan; and three companion works at USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,417.34).
