Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work An elegant company dining and making merry in a garden by Christoffel Jacobsz. van der Laemen. The price achieved of EUR 6,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christoffel Jacobsz. van der Laemen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegant company eating and drinking on a terrace, a landscape beyond in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 83,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An elegant company dining and making merry in a garden von Christoffel Jacobsz. van der Laemen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.875,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christoffel Jacobsz. van der Laemen erzielen.
