Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Christiana Soulou achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2015. In the A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange auction, the work without title sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,196.25) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Christiana Soulou; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot (i) Untitled(ii) Untitled(iii) Untitled sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,555.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christiana Soulou erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.196,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Christiana Soulou; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit (i) Untitled(ii) Untitled(iii) Untitled im April 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.555,57).
