Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White Treepainting Burning Nr. 3, 1988/89 by Christian Peltenburg-Brechneff was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in December 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 7,500.00 (€ 6,658.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Christian Peltenburg-Brechneff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2017 the work Mountainlandscape, Serie I, Nr. 1, 2011 was auctioned for CHF 10,000.00 (€ 8,541.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White Treepainting Burning Nr. 3, 1988/89 von Christian Peltenburg-Brechneff kam im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 7.500,00 (€ 6.658,08) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Christian Peltenburg-Brechneff konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2017 die Arbeit Mountainlandscape, Serie I, Nr. 1, 2011 für CHF 10.000,00 (€ 8.541,84) versteigert.
