Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fishermen at the beach, Lønstrup, Denmark by Christian Mølsted was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) auction at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of DKK 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 10,500.00 (€ 1,409.33). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Mølsted - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Fregatten Jylland”, which sold at auction in May this year for DKK 23,000.00 (€ 3,087.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fishermen at the beach, Lønstrup, Denmark von Christian Mølsted wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia (postponed) bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von DKK 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 10.500,00 (€ 1.409,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Mølsted mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Fregatten Jylland” beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für DKK 23.000,00 (€ 3.087,10) versteigert wurde.
