Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christian Mølsted could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work View over the North Harbour in Vordinborg, Denmark changed hands for DKK 9,000.00 (€ 1,208.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Mølsted - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “Fregatten Jylland”, which sold at auction in May this year for DKK 23,000.00 (€ 3,087.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Mølsted konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit View over the North Harbour in Vordinborg, Denmark für DKK 9.000,00 (€ 1.208,24) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Mølsted mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “Fregatten Jylland” beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für DKK 23.000,00 (€ 3.087,10) versteigert wurde.
