Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christian Eriksson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work The smith changed hands for SEK 8,500.00 (€ 812.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Eriksson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Jakt" (Hunt), which sold at auction in June this year for SEK 38,000.00 (€ 3,225.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Eriksson konnte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wechselte die Arbeit The smith für SEK 8.500,00 (€ 812,84) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Eriksson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Jakt" (Hunt) beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für SEK 38.000,00 (€ 3.225,82) versteigert wurde.
