Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Christian Frederic Eckardt could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings and furniture (postponed) auction, the work “Klar Dag på Stranden ved Kronborg” changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.49) - just shy of the DKK 4,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Frederic Eckardt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish Morning In The Bay Of Corfu in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,500.00 (€ 84,715.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Frederic Eckardt konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings and furniture (postponed) wechselte die Arbeit “Klar Dag på Stranden ved Kronborg” für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Frederic Eckardt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish Morning In The Bay Of Corfu im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.500,00 (€ 84.715,65).
