Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A small sailboat being dragged ashore by Christian Frederic Eckardt was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in January 2024. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 3,200.00 (€ 2,796.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Frederic Eckardt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danish Morning In The Bay Of Corfu in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,500.00 (€ 84,715.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A small sailboat being dragged ashore von Christian Frederic Eckardt wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 3.200,00 (€ 2.796,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Frederic Eckardt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danish Morning In The Bay Of Corfu im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.500,00 (€ 84.715,65).
