Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Christian d'Orgeix achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in May 2021. In the Daniel Cordier, Collection privée auction, the work without title sold for EUR 3,276.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian d'Orgeix - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 7,560.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian d'Orgeix erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Daniel Cordier, Collection privée wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 3.276,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian d'Orgeix mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 7.560,00 versteigert wurde.
