Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishing boats on a calm by Christiaan Cornelis Kannemans was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,360.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Christiaan Cornelis Kannemans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch vessels in a sunlit bay; and Ships caught in rough waters in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.

Die Arbeit Fishing boats on a calm von Christiaan Cornelis Kannemans kam im April 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.360,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
