Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, drawings and icons, which included the work View from Marina Piccola on Capri, Italy by Christen Købke. The price achieved of DKK 170,000.00 (€ 22,822.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christen Købke - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Luftstudie. Rødlig aftenhimmel med tunge sortgra skyer (Air study. Reddish evening sky with heavy Black-Grey Clouds), which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 70,100.00 (€ 89,170.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, drawings and icons durch, in der auch die Arbeit View from Marina Piccola on Capri, Italy von Christen Købke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 170.000,00 (€ 22.822,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Christen Købke mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Luftstudie. Rødlig aftenhimmel med tunge sortgra skyer (Air study. Reddish evening sky with heavy Black-Grey Clouds) beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 70.100,00 (€ 89.170,26) versteigert wurde.
