Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Studies for “Nedgang til et køkken” Steps Leading Down to a Kitchen by Christen Købke for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 335.30). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christen Købke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Luftstudie. Rødlig aftenhimmel med tunge sortgra skyer (Air study. Reddish evening sky with heavy Black-Grey Clouds) in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 70,100.00 (€ 89,170.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Studies for “Nedgang til et køkken” Steps Leading Down to a Kitchen von Christen Købke für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 335,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christen Købke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Luftstudie. Rødlig aftenhimmel med tunge sortgra skyer (Air study. Reddish evening sky with heavy Black-Grey Clouds) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 70.100,00 (€ 89.170,26).
