Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lisa Taylor, Christian Dior by Chris von Wangenheim was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April this year. The price achieved of USD 17,780.00 (€ 16,105.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Chris von Wangenheim have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2019 the work Lisa Taylor, Publicité pour Christian Dior, 1976 was auctioned for EUR 23,750.00.

Die Arbeit Lisa Taylor, Christian Dior von Chris von Wangenheim kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.780,00 (€ 16.105,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Chris von Wangenheim konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2019 die Arbeit Lisa Taylor, Publicité pour Christian Dior, 1976 für EUR 23.750,00 versteigert.
