Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Chris Bracey could be acquired at Phillips in London in March 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the SEX Theme Sale auction, the work Escorts changed hands for GBP 17,500.00 (€ 19,647.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Chris Bracey have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2011 by the work God Save the Queen at GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,030.72).
