Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wang Dao Stone(Executed In 2018) by Chou Chu-Wang was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,760.00 (€ 4,251.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chou Chu-Wang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stones Islet — Waiting(Painted In 2019) in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 259,600.00 (€ 29,455.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wang Dao Stone(Executed In 2018) von Chou Chu-Wang wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.760,00 (€ 4.251,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chou Chu-Wang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stones Islet — Waiting(Painted In 2019) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 29.455,86).
