Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stones(Painted In 2021) by Chou Chu-Wang was auctioned at China Guardian in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 216,000.00 (€ 26,121.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chou Chu-Wang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work Stones Islet — Waiting(Painted In 2019) was auctioned for HKD 259,600.00 (€ 29,455.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stones(Painted In 2021) von Chou Chu-Wang kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 216.000,00 (€ 26.121,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Chou Chu-Wang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2019 die Arbeit Stones Islet — Waiting(Painted In 2019) für HKD 259.600,00 (€ 29.455,86) versteigert.
