Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mountain Landscape In Indonesia by Choo Keng Kwang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,584.36). Admittedly, works by Choo Keng Kwang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arowana in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,224.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mountain Landscape In Indonesia von Choo Keng Kwang kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.584,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Choo Keng Kwang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arowana im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.224,87).
