Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Chittaprosad Bhattacharya was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,145.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chittaprosad Bhattacharya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,601.64).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chittaprosad Bhattacharya kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.145,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chittaprosad Bhattacharya erzielen.
