In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work Dancing Girl; Girl with Ball; The Horseman; The Swordsman sold for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,596.97) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chittaprosad Bhattacharya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,601.64).
