A top price for Chin Sung - as previously expected
In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Light and Colour by Chin Sung. The price achieved of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 20,678.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Light and Colour is the most expensive artwork by Chin Sung that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Light and Colour von Chin Sung zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 20.678,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Light and Colour das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chin Sung, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
