Upper estimate price exceeded by 48%
The work Landscape by Cheng Jiasui was sold in the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 29,500 (€ 3,410), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheng Jiasui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 3,380,000 (€ 293,735).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48% übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Cheng Jiasui wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 29.500 (€ 3.410) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cheng Jiasui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.380.000 (€ 293.735).
