Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ink Landscapes by Cheng Jiasui was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 100,800 (€ 12,187) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 80,000 - 120,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheng Jiasui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 3,380,000 (€ 293,735).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ink Landscapes von Cheng Jiasui kam im April diesen Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.800 (€ 12.187) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000 – 120.000 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cheng Jiasui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.380.000 (€ 293.735).
