Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Bonhams held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Two Fish by Chen Yongqiang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 8,287.50 (€ 938.73). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Yongqiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carps in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,794.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Fish von Chen Yongqiang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 8.287,50 (€ 938,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Yongqiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carps im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.794,45).
