Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dream Of Hometown by Chen Yanning was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 36,939.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 450,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Yanning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aureole in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,596,000.00 (€ 305,679.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dream Of Hometown von Chen Yanning kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 36.939,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Yanning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aureole im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.596.000,00 (€ 305.679,47).
