Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rocks in Weird Shape by Chen Shizeng was auctioned at POLY in October 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,125.15). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shizeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 123,185.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rocks in Weird Shape von Chen Shizeng kam im Oktober 2019 bei POLY zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 44.840,00 (€ 5.125,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shizeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 123.185,81).
