Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain in the Summer by Chen Shizeng was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March last year. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,801.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shizeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 123,185.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountain in the Summer von Chen Shizeng kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.801,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shizeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 123.185,81).
