The work Crane and Pine Tree by Chen Shizeng was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 82,875.00 (€ 8,947.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shizeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 123,185.81).

Die Arbeit Crane and Pine Tree von Chen Shizeng kam im November 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 82.875,00 (€ 8.947,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shizeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 123.185,81).
