Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art Online | No Reserve, which included the work Street - Opera, Paris by Chen Shaoxiong. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,300.00 (€ 1,113.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shaoxiong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Collective Memories: International Finance Center in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 23,643.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art Online | No Reserve durch, in der auch die Arbeit Street - Opera, Paris von Chen Shaoxiong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.300,00 (€ 1.113,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shaoxiong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Collective Memories: International Finance Center im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 23.643,70).
