Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Chinese Art II, which included the work Collective Memory Series - Beijing: Olympic Stadium by Chen Shaoxiong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 271,500.00 (€ 22,375.03), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chen Shaoxiong have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 23,643.70) in May 2014 for the work Collective Memories: International Finance Center.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Chinese Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Collective Memory Series - Beijing: Olympic Stadium von Chen Shaoxiong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 271.500,00 (€ 22.375,03) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Shaoxiong haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 23.643,70) im Mai 2014 für die Arbeit Collective Memories: International Finance Center beobachtet.
