The work Ink City by Chen Shaoxiong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 6,990.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Shaoxiong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Collective Memories: International Finance Center, which sold at auction in May 2014 for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 23,643.70).

Die Arbeit Ink City von Chen Shaoxiong kam im November 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 6.990,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Shaoxiong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Collective Memories: International Finance Center beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 23.643,70) versteigert wurde.
