The work Lady Holding Fan by Chen Shaomei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,958.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shaomei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portraits Of Great Poets in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,160,000.00 (€ 293,900.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lady Holding Fan von Chen Shaomei kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.958,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shaomei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portraits Of Great Poets im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.160.000,00 (€ 293.900,50).
