Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Fine Asian Works of Art, which included the work Landscape by Chen Shaomei. The price achieved of USD 4,096.00 (€ 3,750.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shaomei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portraits Of Great Poets in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,160,000.00 (€ 293,900.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Fine Asian Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Chen Shaomei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.096,00 (€ 3.750,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shaomei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portraits Of Great Poets im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.160.000,00 (€ 293.900,50).
