Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Lady Holding a Fan by Chen Shaomei. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,579.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shaomei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portraits Of Great Poets in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,160,000.00 (€ 293,900.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lady Holding a Fan von Chen Shaomei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.579,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shaomei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portraits Of Great Poets im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.160.000,00 (€ 293.900,50).
