The work Flowers And Cranes by Chen Mo was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 33,600.00 (€ 4,063.29), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Chen Mo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Birds in April this year with an auction result of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 18,381.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers And Cranes von Chen Mo wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 33.600,00 (€ 4.063,29) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Mo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Birds im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 18.381,52).
