Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chen Mo achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers And Birds sold for HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,613.25) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 14,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Mo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers And Birds, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 18,000.00 (€ 18,381.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Mo erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flowers And Birds für HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.613,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 14.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Mo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers And Birds beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 18.000,00 (€ 18.381,52) versteigert wurde.
