A top price for Chen Mo - as previously expected
The work Flowers And Birds by Chen Mo was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 18,381.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Flowers And Birds is the most expensive artwork by Chen Mo that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Flowers And Birds von Chen Mo kam im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 18.381,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Flowers And Birds das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chen Mo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
