A top price for Chen Lingyang - as previously expected
The work Twelve Flower Months by Chen Lingyang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,497.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Twelve Flower Months is the most expensive artwork by Chen Lingyang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Twelve Flower Months von Chen Lingyang kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.497,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Twelve Flower Months das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chen Lingyang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
