This artwork by Chen Jiru achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape Fan sold for HKD 437,000.00 (€ 41,469.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Jiru have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 343,121.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Jiru erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape Fan für HKD 437.000,00 (€ 41.469,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Jiru auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 343.121,74).
